Early 19th C. American gold leaf reverse profile frame

Available from Atelier Richard Boerth when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This frame has a narrow cove and flat at the interior with an arch profile top edge. The frieze slopes down to a cove at the outside edge. Original gilding.
