Wheel-thrown and hand-carved whitestone with the perfect notches for your chopsticks; fired to cone 5. Inscribed with excerpts from a poem about a dear friend who shares my love of soup and always welcomes me at his table. The sweet moments examined in this poem took place over 8 years ago, and those same feelings of care and connetion remain every time we sit down together. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Measures 6" in diameter and 3" tall. Can be purchased as a set with Plate for Community #2.
