What is the Tabu 2.0 We launched the original Tabu in 2015. It instantly became a hit with LUNA fans and especially with the ultralight backpacking crowd. Barefoot Ted had originally found the design in a factory museum of a famous traditional Japanese tabi company in Tokyo. He said “I want this!” They made it for us from 2015-2019 on 100 year old German sewing machines and 80 year old workers… and finally they told us they would not make them anymore. Cut to last year.
